How a Strict Artist Schedule can Lead to Creative Spontaneity?, or Maybe Not?…

In introducing this Blog, we Seek to find out if a Strict Artist Schedule or Routine can Lead to Creative Spontaneity, or Maybe Not? I search a few Professionals In different areas of Science, as well as Artists, to see if they Agree or disagree, with this Question. I will be Posting in the Blog, Two paintings, that I Art created, using my Spontaneity of Thoughts and Ideas. Let us See the Results?

In the Art Inspiration, Marike Kleynscheldt says, that a Daily Schedule, Fights, her Artists block. The Art Schedule helps, her to Create Playful and thought provoking Still Life’s. Her Art style is Constant and changeable. Some Still life’s, are Playful and bright. Other Art works are Somber and thought provoking. All her art works, are Small and Uniquely Art created.

The Acrylic paints are the Choice for Kleynscheldt, she Tried Watercolors and gouache in High school. Her favorite colours were Acrylics. In her Art works, she works on Capturing the Light and texture, in Art objects, shapes and Colour. Kleynscheldt paints Wet on dry, and likes the Quick drying time of Acrylic paints.

Time to Experiment–Kleynscheldt, advice to painters making a Transition from another Medium to Acrylic, is to make Time to experiment with Acrylic colours, and the Medium. Try different Acrylic brands, with their level, of Gloss and opacity. Buy and work, with the Highest Quality paints and Canvases.

Working from References–choose Materials and objects that Inspire you, and do Work from your Photographs, so that you can Change, the Lighting and the position of the Scenery.

More Personal than a Photograph–Kleynscheldt, says a painting, is more Personal than a photograph. A painting is about Feeling and Expressing yourself, through Colour and Texture.it tells you, when to Keep on painting, and when Too stop. She thinks, Paintings should be Beautiful, and most Importantly, a painting should give the Audience an Emotional connection, through the, Art creation.

Nature World. Mixed Media. Marie. Crimi. 2021…

Attack Artists Block–Kleynscheldt’s, Method to avoid painters Block. She plans her Next painting, before her Current one is Finished, this keeps her, Art creative Motivated. She makes the Effort to be careful not to Fall into a Art Rut. With her Still Life’s, she Limits the number of Paintings, she Completes of a Subject.

To Shake Things up-Kleynscheldt, believes Artists should move Forward, into whatever Challenges them as an Artist. Also what feels New and exciting. Saying that, when you Feel stuck, you need to Get out, of Your Comfort zone. Change the Project, the Medium, the Props and the Canvases…

Futuristic City. Mixed Media. Marie. Crimi. 2021…

In conclusion, Marike Kleynscheldt is a Self taught Artist, from Cape Town, in South Africa. She concludes her Argument, saying, that it is all in the Emotional connection, between, the Painting and the Viewer.

In the Science of Structure–it says, Why? Your Routine is Killing Your Creativity?

Meg Selig of Psychology Today, writes, that a Routine is Nothing more than a Series of Habits. We follow habits with the Intention of making Our Lives easier. Yet, we Never stop to Think about how Limiting, Habits might be? Actually Routines, let you go on Auto pilot, and You regardless, Accomplish your goals.

Annie Murphy Paul, says that, the way we spend our Mornings is Anti-counter, to what Neuroscientists and Cognitive Psychologists, tell us Promote flexible, open Minded thinking. Paul, says that a Strict Routine, will result in a Building, Up of stress, because you feel the Pressure, to Meet the demands of the Routines–Deadlines.

According to Tierney, he says, that Humans should follow a Routine of Complete and Full of Spontaneity. That is NO Routines at all. Tierney believes for Success, in the Material world, both the Internal, and relative to the Real world, you must Try, but Not too Hard… because too Much of Anything, can Never be Good?

Why Spontaneity is your friend?, and How to Embrace it–Sean Parshad, says that Friends come and go, but that Spontaneity, will last a Lifetime, Adding benefits, to your Whole Life. Life is Random in Nature, Adding to life, will Enrich your Life, and make it Feel more, Unpredictable and Yet Engaging? and that, the Very Staff of life, is what makes Random events more Interesting. The lesson is, that no Matter, what it is You Really want to do, the Time to get Started is now. There is No Wrong moment to have a Novel experience, no Wrong moment to Start to really Live… So get out There, and learn to Make the Unfamiliar, familiar. Your Brain, Body, and Soul will Thank you, For it.

In Conclusion, in the Science of Structure–it says that a Routine or schedule kills your creativity. Meg Selig of Psychology today, says that a Routine is a Series of habits. Then Annie Murphy Paul says, that Schedules, routines are Anti–counter to what Neuro-scientists and Cognitive Psychologists, tell us promote Flexible, Open minded thinking. That Routines, build up Stress, because you feel the Need, to meet the Demands of the routines? Then Tierney, says that Humans should not Follow a routine, at all costs. He believes to achieve Success, in the Material world, yes you Must try, but not too Hard, because too much of Anything, can Never be a Good thing?

Sean Parshad, says, that Friends come and go, but Spontaneity, will last a Lifetime, because it Adds Numerous benefits to your Lifetime. Concluding that there is no Wrong moment, to Start to really live. So make the Unfamiliar, familiar. Your Brain, Body and Soul, will Thank you, for it.

What do you think? Should we have Schedules and Routines, and Follow them Continuously? or should we Attempt Spontaneously everything, in our Lives? or What should we Do, and be?

Create A Series of Paintings, Why Not?… and My Art Creations.

In this Blog, Create A Series of Paintings, Why Not?. I am Thinking, you will find this an Interesting Preposition, to Think about, and to Explore Further in this Blog? I Think this all Sounds, Exciting and Very interesting, when we are Art Creative Artists. It could Be Necessary Information that we have in our thoughts, to help us to Succeed as Artists?

Why Create A Series of Paintings?– Lynn McLain says, in her Article in the Artists Network, ( 2016 ), Challenge Yourself to Create a Series of Paintings. McLain thinks that seeing Everyday subjects in Imaginative ways, can create a whole Newer world of Art Creating. How?, by Pushing yourself to Explore the subjects in a Series of Paintings. You will Without doubt be nicely surprised, with the Art Creation outcome.

McLain initially mastered Technique, and then Wondered what it was that she was trying to Art Express? It was from this Point, that she began searching for Something New, different, Something to fill her Creative Emptiness.

McLain thought to look for a Painting subject, that would offer Textual excitement, with Design Challenges. It was this Reflection, and Visual search that led her to do Two different paintings, that changed the Perspective of the Art, she Created. The first was a Self-portrait from an Aerial perspective looking down onto her Bald Head. She honestly believes this was all about Her, Life Circumstances at that time. It was also a Vehicle on the way, to searching for a Newer Creative Self…

The Second Painting that had an impact in her Search for a Newer Direction, featured a Road that left the Landscape and Travelled up to the sky. At this Point she Noticed, the Excellent Art Composition Possibilities.

McLain said that, this was what lead to, Gradual Thought Processes, Awareness, and Faith that Led to the First Series of Her Paintings.

You Wonder, what is A Series of Art Created Paintings. A Series is an Artistic Way, to show the Extraordinary Qualities, in the everyday Visual Landscape, that we as Life Observers See, On A Daily Basis… Like the Beauty of Colours, textures, and the Extreme Contrasts in Light and Dark, which are Found Everywhere…

When McLain Art Created in this Manner Initially, she did paint Realistically. At this point in time, she Crops and Embellishes the Subject and she Proceeds to Paint, and The Result is Abstract Art Work.

A Series Allows for the Subject Topic, to Reveal itself to the Observant Viewer, which in return gives, Endless Art Creative Possibilities. It gives the Artist, a Huge Platform, to Explore and Work, on Unique Art Creations. The outcome is, Similar or Different in A Series, which is the Continuation of a Subject, or Topic.

In Starting a Series, think about Making a list of all things you are attracted to. Could it be Light, Shadow, Colour. Maybe a Specific Location?, you should think about the questions to ask Yourself and Not Focus wholly on the Answers… To conclude this Article, McLain, says Working In A Series, will Strengthen Your Paintings Skills, Improve your Visual Understanding of a Subject, and Show You, How to Best Express Your Ideas. Making your Creative Skills come Alive, as in choosing the Best Composition, Colour, for the Next Painting in the Series…

The Following Paintings are my Series of Paintings, based on Prayer Temples. In this case, the Temple is the Same, I have used Different Media to Embellish and Art Create the Four Paintings. I have labeled the Paintings as to what came into my Mind when, the Paintings had been Coloured and Completed.

The First painting, was made in Faber Castell, 12 Classic Colours and Outlined in Sharpie, Fine Liner, Marker. The Second painting, was made in Crayons, Crayola 24– Colours. The Third painting was made in Gel Pens, Itsi Bitsi Gel Pens 36–Colours and Outlined in Sharpie, Fine Liner, Marker. In this Next Article in the Art Business.com , we Note what the Art Business.com have to say for the,

Reasons for Artists to Make Art in Series–

Advantages to Bodies of Work Over Single Pieces?–If You as the Artist want that we the Audience Understand You and Your Art Creations and Processes, You Need to help Us Figure Out What you are Doing?

The Easist way to do this is to work In A Series, that is to Art Create, Unified, cohesive, coherent Related bodies of work. Many Artists are not fully aware of the Advantages to creating multiple works of art, close to the same Idea, theme, philosophy, concept, topic, composition, or Subject matter.

What most Artist do is Art Create, Onesies or Whatever Strikes My Fancy, which results in Unrelated, disjointed, and incoherent Art Work. A single painting has No Beginning, middle or End. It has no Theme, no plot, no context or Direction. This is called one OFF, Which has No Value or Substance, for the Potential Buyer… The Buyer wants to Experience, how the Art is taking them on a Journey, an adventure, and that Which will Immerse, them in something Bigger and More Meaningful. Progressively, Enlightening or Elucidating them, Along the Artists Journey, which is All Unique Art Creating…

The Article says, when to many Choices are given to a Buyer. People feel Overwhelmed, they do not have the Time or energy, to see the Identity or the purpose of the Artist. Frustrated they Buy Nothing…

The Artists Common excuse for not working in A series, they do not want to be repetive, forced or locked into Compositions or categories. To Then end up in a Dead End, Art Creative Situation. Artist say it is all about their Artistic Freedom, to Produce the, Art They Choose, and Not Be Art Creative Constrained to Produce, A Series, Same or Similar Art.

A Series is not About repetition. It is To be able to Explore, investigate, or Examine particular compositions or Categories, ideas, topics, in a Progressive deeper more Meaningful way. The Experienced Artist will tell you, the more Involved and committed they become, that more Possibilities, Enlighten them. Even if, all the Paintings are related, in Some Way.

This Article concludes, that we as Artists follow this Assertion, For the Artist who Prefer or insist on making different Kinds of art, Work on several Series simultaneously. One last point is, once you Finalize the ideas behind A series of Body of work, stay with them, this is what Will Make you A Success. YOU Will, Advance in Your Art Creative Career.

My Opinion is that An Art Creating, Series? …, is not Original or Unique to the Artist, Individual Need or Choice, to work the Way they make Art Creations, in their Natural way and Progression of their Choosing. Remember Artists, even as, Individuals, we are Not Equal, Not One of Us, We All have our, Methods, of Learning, Creating and Working ( Producing the Art Creations and Work we do? ) I Think this Article is, Untrue, we all Know, that Variety is the Spice of Natural Life. Maybe that is the Reason we Have so Many Problems in Our World?

I conclude that this Idea is Outdated, it was So in the Past Art History, when Art Creating was New. As a New Discipline it was the Rule.. Today, we have Moved, On and Past all these Rules and Constraints… ?Agree???…There are too Many Newer Possibilities, Ideas, Uniqueness, and Media to Use and to Do Things, With…I would like to Hear You Artist’s, Ideas and Thoughts, on What? A Series of Art Works, means to YOU.
